Syndication - Case Study

Juniper Networks uses SimpleFeed to Syndicate Content to Partners and Media Sites

  Business Challenge
As a leading provider of high performance networking and security products, Juniper Networks sells its offerings through multiple channels. In bringing its products to market, Juniper publishes thought leadership content used by Channel Partners, Media Sites and Micro-sites. Getting content out to these organizations was procedurally and technically time consuming. Juniper also wanted to offer content for subscription via RSS directly.

  Solution
With minimal IT resources, the Juniper Networks deployed SimpleFeed to create RSS Feeds of press release and other thought leadership materials for customers, channel partners and media sites. Feeds are delivered through a simple subscription process (image 1). Feed are read directly by customers and prospects using RSS Readers such as MyYahoo and iGoogle.

Media Sites can easily pick up the Feed for re-publication on their website and re-syndication to their subscribers. (image 2). Similarly Channel Partners can select relevant content for re-publication on their websites. Using any of the freely available RSS to HTML converters, or a few lines of JavaScript, feeds are inserted into web pages.
