Case Study – Juniper Networks

Business Challenge: More Effective Global Content Publishing
A leading provider of high-performance networking and security products, Juniper Networks sells its offerings through multiple channels. The company wanted to deliver thought-leadership content in multiple languages to customers, prospects, channel partners and journalists around the world.

Solution: Publish Content Automatically from Content Management System
With minimal IT resources, Juniper Networks used the SimpleFeed enterprise RSS solution to create RSS feeds of press releases, news, blogs and other thought-leadership materials. Feeds are delivered to customers, channel partners and media sites through a simple subscription process (see image 1). SimpleFeed integrates with the content management system (CM) used by Juniper Networks, automating feed publication. Customers and prospects can read feeds using RSS readers such as MyYahoo and iGoogle (see image 2).

  Results: Publish Once, Reach Many
SimpleFeed helps Juniper Networks syndicate its content quickly and easily to RSS subscribers, media sites and channel partners (image 3). All content is available for publishing into Twitter and Facebook, and content from these and other social networks can be imported and published to Juniper Network feeds and syndicated to Web pages (see image 1: Twitter). With access to the latest information, partner sites are more successful. And with new inbound links from these partner sites to Juniper.net, Juniper has improved search engine rankings. Juniper is able to track the results of its enterprise social media program using SimpleFeed Analytics.
