Inside Sales

SimpleFeed is a software company that sells an On-Demand Service based on RSS to Marketing Departments. We are seeking our first inside salesperson.

Our on-demand service is complete and by far the best offering in an exciting new field. "Lighthouse account" customers are having stunning success with our service. Our marketing programs are generating leads.

Your job is to identify and qualify new prospects and to execute a sales plan to achieve quota. This includes heavy phone calling, providing detailed information on our service, as well as doing online presentations and demonstrations. For large opportunities you will act as part of the selling team. You will be expected to close smaller opportunities yourself.

Requirements include:

  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in selling on-demand applications or enterprise software directly to Fortune 2000 companies via telesales.
  • Experience selling to the marketing departments of leading technology companies. Ideally you will have experience selling e-mail marketing services, web analytics, content management systems, or other e-marketing/CRM software or services.
  • Enthusiasm for RSS and blogging.
  • Live within a forty-five minute commute of the Mid-Peninsula.
  • Ability to listen to customer needs and think strategically.
  • Entrepreneurial, flexible and self-starting.
  • Excellent telephone selling and presentation skills, effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Sales Executive

SimpleFeed, the simplest way for marketing departments to communicate with customers using RSS is seeking a Sales Executive who will report to the Vice President of Sales.

Our revolutionary product is complete. We have referencable customers enjoying tremendous success with our service. Our marketing programs are generating leads. Your job is to develop the pipeline and turn our prospects into revenue generating customers.

Requirements include:

  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in selling on-demand applications or enterprise software directly to Fortune 2000 companies.
  • Experience selling to the marketing departments of technology companies. Ideally you will have experience selling e-mail marketing services, content management systems, or other e-marketing software or services.
  • A verifiable record of exceeding quotas.
  • Experience with license and ASP models.
  • Enthusiasm for RSS and blogging.
  • Live within a thirty-minute commute of the Mid-Peninsula.
  • Eager to pick up the phone and to be in front of customers.
 

Compensation will include salary, incentive-based bonus, stock option and typical benefits.
