Mark Carlson, CEO
Mr. Carlson co-founded SimpleFeed in 2004 and has served as its CEO since its inception. Previously Mr. Carlson was CFO at First to File, an
enterprise software company he sold to MarkMonitor. Prior to First to File Mr.
Carlson was General Manager of the Internet Security Group of CyberMedia, a
public company later acquired by Network Associates. Mr. Carlson came to
CyberMedia as a result of its acquisition of Walk Softly, Inc., where he was
Founder and CEO. At Walk Softly Mr. Carlson lead marketing and development of
Guard Dog, an Internet privacy and security product that became a PC Data Top
10 product. Prior to Walk Softly, Mr. Carlson was CFO and Vice President of
Business Development at Digital Pictures. Mr. Carlson began his career in the
technology investment banking departments of Montgomery Securities and
PaineWebber. Mr. Carlson graduated from the Wharton School of the University of
Pennsylvania.
Alik Eliashberg, EVP & CTO
For the past 14 years Mr. Eliashberg has held a variety of technology and
senior management positions, including being an early member of three
successful startups. Previously he was VP of Engineering at MetaReward, Inc
(online direct marketing company). As a member of the founding team of
MetaReward, he built the engineering organization, responsible for designing,
deploying, and managing daily operations of a large (MediaMetrix100) website.
Prior to MetaReward, Mr. Eliashberg held a variety of senior technology and
management roles at Resonate, Inc (enterprise software company). He joined
Resonate early on as an engineer and over time became responsible for all daily
operations of the engineering department. Prior to Resonate, Mr. Eliashberg was
the first employee at NetDynamics, Inc., where he designed and implemented
NetDynamics Application Server - one of the first application servers on the
market. Prior to that Mr. Eliashberg held a variety of full-time and contract
positions as a software engineer in fields like database system design,
real-time control, and POS/warehouse management systems. Mr. Eliashberg
graduated from University of California, San Diego. |
